Adwait is a professional Sitar player, raised in illustrious music loving family. His father (Shri. Vivek Gadgil) is a tabla player and disciple of (Late Pandit Samta Prasadji, Late Pandit Madanlal Gangani and Late Pandit Chandrakant Kamat). Adwait was introduced to the world of music by his father at a very tender age of 5 years. From where he began his initial training in vocal music and tabla and learned the intricacies of the Taal – kriya.
Realizing Adwait’s core interest towards Sitar, his father sent him to Sitar Wizard Ustad Shahid Parvezji of (Etawah Gharana) to gain expertise. Adwait is undergoing rigorous training in Sitar with Ustadji since last 16 years in Gurukul style.
Adwait has performed in many major cities across India which include Nagpur, Pune, Hyderabad, Banglore , Mumbai, Allahabad, Aurangabad. Karad etc.
Adwait is an empaneled artist of ICCR (Indian Council For Cultural Relations) Government Of India. Adwait is one of those rare child prodigies who have done justice to his talent through sheer dint of his commitment.
He was rewarded as “Best upcoming Instrumentalist” by the famous Gaanwardhan Sansthan based in Pune for the year 2010. He was also honorably invited to perform at the “Festival of Young Artists” amongst nine talented upcoming artists of India by “Sangeet Sankalpa, Allahabad”.
